RAW SEA MOSS & SEA MOSS GEL INSTRUCTIONS

Sea Moss gel has gained popularity as a natural supplement due to its potential health benefits. It’s often used as an ingredient in smoothies, desserts, and various food dishes. Here’s a step-by-step guide on how to use sea moss gel:

**Ingredients and Materials:**
1. Dried Sea Moss
2. Water (We Use Spring Water)
3. A bowl
4. A blender
5. A glass jar or airtight container for storing the gel

**Step-by-Step Guide:**

**1. Preparation:**
– Begin by thoroughly rinsing the dried sea moss under cold water to remove any debris or impurities.
– Soak the Sea Moss in clean water for about 12-24 hours. This will rehydrate the Sea Moss and allow it to expand.

**2. Cleaning and Prepping:**
– After soaking, drain the water and thoroughly rinse the Sea Moss again to remove any excess salt or sand.
– Trim off any rough or tough parts of the Sea Moss.

**3. Making the Gel:**
– In a clean bowl, add the soaked and cleaned sea moss along with enough fresh water to cover it. The ratio of Sea Moss to water can vary, but a common ratio is about 1 cup of Sea Moss to 2-3 cups of water.
– Let the Sea Moss sit in water for about 15-20 minutes. During this time, it will further soften.
– Transfer the Sea Moss and water mixture to a blender. Blend on high until you achieve a smooth and creamy consistency. You might need to scrape down the sides of the blender to ensure everything is blended evenly.

**4. Storing the Gel:**
– Pour the blended Sea Moss gel into a glass jar or airtight container. Store it in the refrigerator.
– The gel can last for around 2-3 weeks when refrigerated, but it’s best to use it within the first week for optimal freshness.

**5. Using the Sea Moss Gel:**
– Sea Moss gel can be added to smoothies, juices, teas, desserts, foods, skin moisturiser and even spoon feed.
– Start with a small amount (about 1-2 tablespoons) and gradually increase as you become accustomed to its taste and effects.
– Remember that the gel might add a slightly seaweed-like taste and a thickening texture to your dishes.

**6. Experiment and Enjoy:**
– Feel free to experiment with the amount of Sea Moss gel you add to your recipes to find the right balance for your taste preferences. You can even use Sea Moss Gel on your skin as a moisturiser.
– Incorporate the Sea Moss gel into your daily routine to potentially experience its health benefits.

**7. Note:**
– Consult with a healthcare professional before making sea moss gel a regular part of your diet, especially if you have any pre-existing health conditions or are taking medications.
